I’m Carly, an illustrator and picture book creator based in Denver. I’ve been professionally illustrating for 12 years. I started my company Clementine Studio in 2014 where I designed hundreds of wedding invitations, illustrated for brands like Architectural Digest and Maybelline, and ran a print shop. Now as a mom of 2 little boys, I’m focusing my time on my favorite things: illustrating for picture books, editorial and branding.

I share studio updates, picture book recs, motherhood and career chats on my substack here and you can follow along on instagram here. You can find my first illustrated picture book, Eating With Animals, here.

If you’d like support in building or troubleshooting your art practice or creative small business, you can book studio hours with me here.
